How do I book the Varanasi 1 day tour?
Send your travel dates, group size and where you arrive from on WhatsApp, by phone or with the quote form. We reply with a written quote that lists what is included and not included. You confirm once you are happy with the plan.
How much does the Varanasi 1 day tour cost?
Rates depend on your dates, group size, hotel category and the season, so we do not publish one fixed price. Share your plan and we send a written quote with an option for each stay type, so you can compare clearly.
Can the Varanasi 1 day tour be customised?
Yes. Because the car and guide are private, the plan can be shortened, extended or reordered around your family, mobility, interests and flight or train timings. Tell us what matters and we adjust the itinerary before you pay.
When is the best time to travel?
October to March is the most comfortable season, with Dev Deepawali in November as a special time. Summers are hot, so sightseeing is planned for early mornings and evenings, and the monsoon can restrict the lower ghats and boat routes.
What if the plan changes because of weather, festivals or closures?
Itineraries can shift because of festivals, river levels, security restrictions or temple closures. We always arrange the nearest suitable alternative, tell you in advance and keep the quality of the day the same.
How early should I book?
For October to March and for festivals such as Dev Deepawali or Mahashivratri, book several weeks ahead because hotels near the ghats fill up. Outside the peak season a week is usually enough.
Which temples does the Varanasi 1 day tour cover?
Baba Kal Bhairav, Kashi Vishwanath, Maa Annapurna and Sankat Mochan, followed by an evening boat ride from Assi Ghat, the Ganga aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat and a view of Manikarnika Ghat from the boat.
Is Sarnath included in the 1 day plan?
No. The 1 day plan focuses on the four temples and the evening on the river. Sarnath is part of the 2 day plan.
How long do the four temples take?
About 4 to 5 hours together, depending on crowds and traffic. No special pass is needed for general darshan, and a Sugam Darshan ticket can reduce waiting time on weekends and festival days.
Why is Kal Bhairav the first stop?
By tradition, devotees seek the permission of Baba Kal Bhairav, the guardian of Kashi, first on arrival. We follow that order.
What time is the Ganga aarti?
The evening aarti is at 6:00 PM in winter and 6:30 PM in summer, and lasts about 45 minutes. We confirm the time for your date.
Which stay options are available?
You can choose without hotel, a budget 3-star, a heritage haveli or boutique stay near the ghats, or a premium property with Ganga or ghat views. The sightseeing and car stay the same; only the hotel category changes.
Is the private car included for the whole trip?
Yes. The tour uses a private air-conditioned car with a driver for the sightseeing in the plan, including tolls, parking and driver charges. Meals, entry tickets and personal expenses are extra.
Are meals, entry tickets and guide fees included?
Meals are not included unless your quote says so, so you can choose where to eat. Monument and museum entry fees are paid on the spot. Your quote lists every inclusion and exclusion in writing.
Is the 1 day plan suitable for children and elderly guests?
It is a long day with queues and walking, so it is not recommended for families with small children or elderly members. The 2 day plan spreads the same sights over a gentler pace.
Is the Varanasi 1 day tour suitable for senior citizens and children?
Yes. We can slow the pace, shorten walking distances and choose quieter darshan hours. Please mention any mobility needs, health conditions or dietary preferences when you enquire so we plan the right approach.
What should I wear and carry?
Light, modest clothing with shoulders and knees covered for temples, shoes that are easy to remove, a scarf or stole, sunscreen and a water bottle. Phones, bags and leather items are not allowed inside Kashi Vishwanath, so leave them in the car or at the hotel.
